Position: Junior Software Engineer – AI Quality & Testing

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $30 - $42/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

 

Role Responsibilities

* Test and evaluate AI-powered web and mobile products with a focus on video generation.
* Write detailed test cases and document bugs, edge cases, and product issues.
* Contribute code improvements and fixes to TypeScript-based projects.
* Analyze user feedback to identify product improvement opportunities.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, product, and operations.
* Apply structured quality engineering practices to enhance product performance.
* Maintain organized documentation of testing processes and findings.

 

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
* Strong proficiency in TypeScript with experience contributing to production codebases.
* Demonstrated portfolio of self-built projects.
* Ability to navigate and contribute to complex codebases.
* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
* Interest in AI tools and video generation technologies.
* Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
