A global biotech company that supplies critical proteins and reagents to the world's top pharmaceutical manufacturers is adding a Regional Marketing Manager to lead brand growth and market penetration across the US. This is a full-spectrum marketing leadership role spanning strategy, campaigns, distributor relationships, analytics, and regional activations.

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗢𝗣𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬

You'll own the US regional marketing function. That means developing localized strategies aligned to global brand objectives, managing distributor and partner ecosystems, launching multi-channel campaigns, and turning regional market data into executive-level insights.

  

This is not a single-channel role. You'll be expected to drive results across strategy, campaigns, events, analytics, and stakeholder management simultaneously. The right candidate brings broad marketing leadership experience in biotech or pharma, a science background strong enough to credibly represent a complex technical portfolio, and the ability to move between big-picture strategy and hands-on execution.

𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗬𝗢𝗨'𝗟𝗟 𝗕𝗨𝗜𝗟𝗗

• Develop and execute regional marketing strategies that align with global brand objectives while maximizing local market penetration and ROI

• Manage US distributor and partner relationships, delivering co-marketing programs, brand guidance, and strategic tools that drive regional sales targets

• Launch localized multi-channel campaigns across social, web, and email, tailored to regional market dynamics

• Conduct customer behavior and competitive research to identify market gaps and inform long-term positioning

• Transform regional KPI data into actionable insights and executive-level presentations for global stakeholders

• Oversee regional activations across online and offline channels, including trade shows and events, as strategic brand touchpoints

• Supervise and mentor two regional marketing specialists, building a culture of accountability and cross-functional collaboration

• Travel 30 to 40% for events and regional activities across the US

This role requires genuine analytical ability. The company invests heavily in events and marketing programs and expects you to measure and justify that spend, not just execute it. The team has strong operators already. What they need is someone who can step back, analyze what's working, and make strategic recommendations. If you thrive in execution-only environments, this role may not be the right fit. If you want to influence strategy with data and own a region, it is.

<strong>Minimum Qualifications – Education And Experience</strong>

  

*   Master’s degree in life science or related discipline required.
*   Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical sectors.

  

<strong>Preferred Qualifications – Education And Experience</strong>

  

*   Advanced degree or MBA preferred.
*   5+ years of B2B or B2C marketing experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
*   Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese preferred.

𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗦𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗕𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗙𝗜𝗧𝗦

𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘆: $90,000 to $120,000 depending on experience

𝗕𝗼𝗻𝘂𝘀: Performance-based annual bonus plus eligibility for sales team incentive nominations

𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: San Diego, CA or San Jose, CA or Seattle, WA

𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲: Remote plus travel

𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹: 30 to 40%, company-covered for all events and regional activities
