We're working with a leading foundational AI lab to find experienced software engineers with a quantitative trading background who can help train their latest language model on quant and algo trading engineering tasks.

 

We're looking for senior and staff engineers with 5+ years of experience building trading systems, execution infrastructure, or quantitative research tooling at hedge funds, prop trading firms, or investment banks. You know what it means to write code where microseconds matter, where a logic error has immediate and measurable financial consequences, and where the gap between a correct and an almost-correct implementation is everything.

 

You'll create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated work across core quant engineering workflows: algorithm implementation, backtesting framework design, execution system architecture, market data pipeline design, and technical documentation for quantitative trading systems.

 

Compensation: $105/hour

Commitment: Flexible, up to 20 hours per week (up to $2,100/week)

Location: Fully remote, work on your own schedule

Qualifications:

* Senior or Staff Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience in quant, algo trading, or execution systems at a top trading firm, hedge fund, or investment bank
* Strong expertise in low-latency systems, algorithm implementation, and quantitative research infrastructure
* Excellent written communication and ability to evaluate technical output critically
