The job responsibilities of a Sr. Associate are as follows but not limited to:

* Responsibles for processing simple to complex cases of the processes handled
* Must show increasing proficiency in client/ internal customer language, operating procedures and standards
* To provide guidance and serve as an informal resource to others who have less experience in the assigned business, clinical or technical support processes
* To provide auditing services to client
* Ensures accuracy and quality through monitoring, reviewing, analyzing the work process to deliver a standard result in assigning codes to diagnosis and procedures, using ICD (Internal Classification of Disease), PCS (Procedural Codes) or CPT (Current Procedural Terminology).

 

Required Qualifications:

* Must be a Bachelor Degree graduate of any Medical Allied Course
* Preferably local Registered Nurse
* With active AHIMA and/or AAPC Coding Credential
* At least 2 years of Outpatient Coding (ED/SDS/OBS)
