Data Science Expert

Hourly Contract | Part-time Remote | $80 –$120 per hour

About the Role

A leading AI research initiative is recruiting experienced Data Science professionals to support high-impact collaborations with top AI labs. In this role, you will help improve AI systems through code validation, prompt refinement, algorithmic evaluation, and model benchmarking — applying your data expertise to shape the next generation of intelligent systems.

Key Responsibilities

* Review and refine AI-generated prompts, responses, and code.
* Validate concepts for technical accuracy.
* Provide structured feedback on solution quality and clarity.
* Tag and organize content by topic and difficulty.
* Support benchmarking efforts to assess model performance and capabilities.

Ideal Qualifications

* 3+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or applied statistics (industry or research).
* Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related quantitative field (Bachelor’s minimum; advanced degree preferred).
* Strong proficiency in Python and SQL; familiarity with R, Java, or Scala is a plus.
* Hands-on experience building and deploying ML models with scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
* Skilled in statistical analysis, data wrangling, and feature engineering on large datasets.

Project Details

* Start Date: Immediate.
* Duration: 1–2 months.
* Commitment: Part-time, 15–25 hours/week (flexibility up to 40 hours/week).
* Schedule: Fully remote & asynchronous — flexible working hours.

Compensation & Contract

* Competitive hourly rate: $80 –$120 USD/hr.
* Independent contractor classification.
* Daily payments issued via Stripe Connect.
