We are seeking a Systematics Software Engineer to join our high-impact team within Retail Bank Technology. Key Responsibilities

* Define, design, integrate, test, and support reusable software solutions aligned with business goals
* Perform systems analysis, create specifications, write and test COBOL code, and implement application programs and data interfaces
* Develop and support complex financial applications using GN, RM, MA, IM, and ST modules within FIS/Systematics
* Influence technical decisions and collaborate across teams to drive scalability, availability, maintainability, and flexibility
* Participate in on-call rotation to support production systems and resolve high-impact issues promptly

 

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
* Minimum of 5 years of experience with FIS/Systematics in a financial services environment
* Hands-on expertise in COBOL, JCL, and VSAM on IBM mainframes
* Experience with Ad Hoc reporting tools like Easytrieve or DYL
* Proficiency in mainframe utilities (e.g., SORT, IDCAMS)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Willingness to participate in on-call support for mission-critical systems

Preferred Qualifications

* Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline
* 5+ years of experience developing batch and CICS applications
* Experience with SQL, relational databases, or automated testing tools
* Familiarity with AWS or cloud-based integration models\\
