Senior Software Engineer (Blockchain/Web3) | $80,000 – $160,000 USD | Remote (Europe-based)

 

Are you an experienced Software Engineer eager to work on cutting-edge Web3 and Blockchain technologies? Our client, a fast-growing company in the Web3/Blockchain industry, is expanding its engineering team. With projects that span decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms, smart contract infrastructure, and large-scale tokenized ecosystems, they’ve partnered with some of the most recognized names in the Blockchain world to deliver scalable, secure, and innovative solutions.

What You’ll Do

* Design, develop, and maintain scalable Blockchain applications and smart contracts.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
* Write clean, secure, and efficient code in languages such as Python, Go, Node.js, or Rust.
* Integrate APIs and third-party services into decentralized applications.
* Research and implement new Blockchain protocols and tools to improve performance.
* Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing within the team.
* Contribute to solving complex scalability, security, and interoperability challenges in decentralized ecosystems.

 

What We’re Looking For

* 7+ years of professional software development experience.
* Strong experience with one or more of: Python, Go, Node.js, or Rust.
* Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, distributed systems).
* Experience in or genuine interest to transition into the Web3/Blockchain industry.
* Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, distributed team environment.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
* Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken).

 

Nice to Have (Strong Plus)

* Hands-on experience with Blockchain protocols, smart contract development, Ethereum, Solidity, or similar Web3 technologies.
* Previous contributions to open-source Blockchain projects.
* Experience with decentralized infrastructure, consensus mechanisms, or cryptography.
