HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Systems Engineer with technical knowledge and program management experience, to provide technical expertise and support to our military clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Virtual Machines, array configurations, and Linux. As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing current solution arrays and providing innovative and cutting-edge solutions for future unforeseen challenges. What You Will Do 
 


* Understanding of program management process, procedures, and regulations; with ability to work on a team with Program Manager and Technical Lead
* Develop and maintain relationships with clients (military leaders, personnel, and other stakeholders/Program Management Office), to ensure effective communication and coordination
* Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and operational concepts in cyber and network architecture
* Understanding of IPSEC, Virtual Machines, Ubuntu Linux, VMware ESXI administration, and BackUp RAID array configurations (ie. RAID 1 vs. RAID 0)
* Understanding of remote desktop configuration, WSUS configuration, VPN tunneling, routers, and switches
* Additional duties as assigned or required 
 
 

What We Are Looking For 
 


* 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience
* Systems/Network Engineering experience
* Basic understanding of IPSEC, Virtual Machines, Ubuntu Linux, VMware ESXI administration, BackUp RAID array configurations, Remote Desktop configuration, WSUS configuration, VPN tunneling, routers, and switches
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
* Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance

* Bachelors in a related field
* 5+ years of Systems/Network Engineering experience
* Proven experience as a Technical Engineer (cyber network); with strong understanding of program management
* Familiarity with military cyber security protocols
* CCNA knowledge and understanding
* Clearance: Possess and maintain a Secret Clearance
