Award-winning luxury travel PR and Digital agency, Modern Currency PR is seeking a highly seasoned L.A.-based Senior Digital Marketing Manager (full-time) with an innate hunger and passion for all things travel & hospitality (culinary/hospitality, travel, hotels, etc.), excellent managerial & superior organizational skills, and a strong handle on the latest & greatest social media marketing & influencer relations disciplines.

 

The ideal candidate is a results-driven leader with 4-6 years of direct managerial and department experience, and will be responsible for developing and executing innovative digital strategies for the agency’s marquee roster of luxury travel, hospitality, and aviation clients in the social space. The role includes overseeing MCPR’s Digital Studio, managing a team of skilled digital marketers, acting as a client liaison, driving new business development, and delivering measurable & consistent  results. The position will also work in tandem with MCPR’s earned media campaigns, identifying collaborative opportunities alongside a team of senior media professionals within a dynamic boutique agency environment.

This position will co-exist with our earned media PR campaigns, supporting collaborative digital opportunities for clients alongside a team of seasoned senior-level media industry professionals within an engaging boutique agency environment.

 

This is a remote position, however, all eligible candidates must be based in Los Angeles and have reliable transportation to support the Digital team with in-person meetings, influencer engagements, events, and photo/content shoots.

* Experience: 4-6 years of social media experience in hospitality and/or travel, preferably in an agency setting, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite & Canva, Later, etc. Show us that you can post and create social media content for multiple brands. Requirements, Duties & Responsibilities

 

* Based in sunny Los Angeles, California + ability to thrive in a remote working environment
* Oversee, develop, and execute MCPR’s Digital Studio vision and strategy across 4–5 top-tier client accounts and the agency’s own marketing platforms, providing leadership on social media strategy, influencer partnerships, content direction, and on-site activations, while managing account teams and reporting to the agency President and Vice President
* Manage and mentor direct reports within the Digital Studio team, providing guidance, feedback, and growth opportunities to ensure individual development and overall team success, alongside ensuring all KPI's and projects are managed effectively and deadlines are met
* Continuously identify and implement more efficient workflows, tools, and processes to enhance productivity and streamline team operations
* Develop and ideate creative social media & digital ideas for client social plans, agendas, quarterly audits, and EOY Digital Recaps 
* Develop a cadence, style and strategy for each client to ensure follower growth, posting consistency, optimal engagement and accessibility
* Liaise on-property and in-studio shoots with digital & social media clients for the agency 
* Oversee the development of the agency’s  social media & influencer distribution lists and actively pitch, liaise and engage on behalf of social media clients to secure meaningful, consistent, and goal-oriented results
* Ensure successful execution of Social Media monitoring and reporting for client-related social media coverage
* Lead bi-weekly and monthly meeting/call agendas, quarterly PR/Social Plans, weekly and monthly client activity reports
* Expertise with digital and social media software and platforms including Later.com, Canva, Influencity, etc.; oversee budget for MCPR’s Digital Studio team’s platforms and services 
* Responsible for bringing creative ideas to the table on a consistent basis as it pertains to partnerships, brand synergies and giveaways (contests), takeovers, etc.
* Maintain & set parameters for on-brand and mutually beneficial influencer visits, trips & partnerships
* Oversee monthly Digital Reports for each Digital Client showcasing growth, engagement and analyzing trends
* Outline best social media practices for each client, and train Digital Team on supporting on a weekly basis 
* Responsible for creating new business deck design & build out–innovating & re-designing new PR, team & social slides for MCPR capes deck
* Managing social platforms, responding to comments in a timely manner, reposting in real-time
* Support the onboarding and training of new Digital Interns (quarterly)
