Job Description

Key Responsibilities: 

*   Design robotic systems with a strong emphasis on user experience, form, and function.
    
*   Balance mechanical performance with simplicity, elegance, and manufacturability.
    
*   Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop products that are intuitive to use, service, and maintain.
    
*   Explore and prototype different housing designs, interfaces, and modular architectures.
    
*   Integrate user feedback into design decisions to improve usability, performance, and clarity.
    
*   Own 3D CAD development, prototyping, and mechanical architecture of robotic systems.
    
*   Create parts and assemblies that are visually refined while surviving harsh environments (grain, sand, dust, vibration).
    
*   Support low-volume production with clear documentation, exploded views, and assembly instructions.
    
*   Work closely with branding, product, and engineering teams to bring a unified product vision to life.
    

Qualifications
--------------

Requirements:

*   Minimum of 7 years of experience in product design, mechanical design, or robotics.
    
*   Proven track record of developing product designs from concept sketch to working prototype and into production.
    
*   A portfolio that demonstrates thoughtful product design, as well as functional engineering.
    
*   Strong proficiency in CAD (Fusion 360).
    
*   Experience designing enclosures, housings, or mechanical systems with external visual requirements.
    
*   Experience designing for dusty, rugged, or harsh environments (IP-rated enclosures, modular assemblies, etc.).
    
*   Prototyping and iteration mindset, quickly testing and refining form and function.
    
*   Strong collaboration skills across mechanical, electrical, software, and other multidisciplinary teams.
    
*   Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
    
*   Strong English written and verbal communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
    
*   Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
    
*   Experience working with international teams and in global markets
    
*   Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements
    
*   Demonstrated eagerness to learn new skills and take on diverse tasks, fostering both personal and company growth

Other Details:

*   This is primarily a remote position, providing flexibility to work from home. However, there may be times when you may be required to travel for work.
