Role Overview: 
 
The Marketing and Business Manager, known internally as Director of Marketing & Sales for Bitrex, is responsible for the global development and expansion of the Bitrex brand under Veranova. This role requires strategic planning and execution of marketing initiatives to drive business growth through direct market acquisition and targeted distributor networks. The director will leverage Veranova’s communication channels and marketing resources to enhance Bitrex’s visibility, reputation, and market appeal. Additionally, this role involves establishing and negotiating contracts with partners to ensure sustainable profitability for Bitrex while providing accurate demand forecasts to support operational and supply chain efficiency. 
 
Core Responsibilities: 
 


* Develop and implement a global marketing plan to grow Bitrex’s business through direct sales and distributor networks.
* Utilize Veranova’s communication platforms and marketing tools to increase brand awareness and market penetration.
* Identify and engage new markets to expand Bitrex’s reach and sales potential.
* Establish and manage partnerships with distributors and key stakeholders to optimize sales conditions and long-term profitability.
* Negotiate and formalize contracts with partners to ensure alignment with Veranova’s strategic and financial objectives.
* Provide accurate and strategic sales forecasts to the Bitrex operational management team to align with supply chain requirements.
* Monitor market trends, competitive positioning, and customer needs to continuously refine marketing strategies.
* Work closely with internal teams, including sales, supply chain, and product development, to drive cohesive brand growth.

* Approximately 30% of this role will involve travel. 
 
 
 

Qualifications: 
 
Essential 
 


* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
* Experience in global marketing and sales, preferably within the chemical, pharmaceutical, or specialty ingredients industries.
* Proven track record in brand development, market expansion, and distributor network management.
* Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
* Excellent strategic planning and analytical skills with a results-oriented mindset.
* Ability to work across multiple teams and geographies.
* Strong communication and leadership skills.
