Purpose of position: 
 
Are you passionate about creating beautifully crafted, scalable design solutions? We’re looking for a Product Designer focused on Design Systems to join our team at Awin, supporting our mission to help customers grow their businesses online. You’ll play a key role in helping to evolve and maintain our design system, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency, usability, and quality across our product experiences.

Key Tasks: 
 


* Supporting the evolution of our design system by creating, documenting, and maintaining UI components, patterns, and guidelines
* Collaborating closely with product designers, engineers, and product managers to ensure design system adoption and alignment across teams
* Ensuring components are accessible, responsive, and aligned with usability best practices
* Partnering with engineers to implement and test design system updates within our product codebase
* Advocating for consistent design and interaction patterns across our applications
* Contributing to a clear and usable documentation hub to support team-wide understanding of the system
* Participating in design critiques, feedback sessions, and usability reviews to help drive ongoing improvements
* Staying informed about emerging tools, trends, and practices that could benefit the design system 
 
 

Skills and expertise: 
 


* Strong experience in both UX and UI design, working on a design system
* Proficiency in Figma, including components, libraries, and design tokens
* A good understanding of accessibility and responsive design principles
* Solid communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams
* Detail-oriented with a passion for clean, scalable, and user-centred design
* Curious, proactive, and keen to grow your skills in a supportive team environment
