Job Description: ServiceNow Developer - Part time

<strong>Location:</strong> Remote

Responsibilities

*   Develop and customize ServiceNow applications and modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSC, IRM, CSM) to align with business requirements.
    
*   Design, code, and implement ServiceNow solutions using scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Glide), workflows, and UI customizations.
    
*   Build and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using APIs, web services, iPaaS (e.g., MuleSoft), MID servers, and ETL tools.
    
*   Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
    
*   Participate in system upgrades, testing, and deployment activities, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
    
*   Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and work with ServiceNow support teams to resolve complex development-related challenges.
    
*   Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, development standards, and integration guides.
    
*   Stay current with ServiceNow platform updates, new features, and industry best practices to enhance development processes.
    

Qualifications

*   Minimum of 5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with expertise in developing and customizing ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSC, IRM, CSM).
    
*   Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
    
*   ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification required; additional certifications such as CIS (Certified Implementation Specialist) in one or more modules preferred.
    
*   Strong proficiency in ServiceNow development tools, including scripting (JavaScript, Glide), ServiceNow APIs, Flow Designer, and UI Builder.
    
*   Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST, SOAP, MID servers, and third-party tools like MuleSoft or other iPaaS platforms.
    
*   Solid understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, data models, and module interconnectivity.
    
*   Familiarity with ITIL processes and Agile development methodologies.
    
*   Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
