They are launching a suite of products designed to unify fragmented liquidity and simplify user journeys within the decentralized finance space. This is a high-paced, challenging environment for a small, fast-moving team. They are seeking a highly driven Product Owner/Manager with a proven 0-to-1 track record. 🎯 What You’ll Do

As a Quant Developer, you'll be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and optimizing the quantitative models and systems that drive our on-chain financial products. You'll work closely with our research and engineering teams to translate complex financial strategies into robust, high-performance code. Your responsibilities will include:

Designing and implementing quantitative models: Develop and optimize algorithms for pricing, risk management, and trading strategies within the DeFi ecosystem.

Building high-performance systems: Engineer low-latency, scalable, and reliable systems for executing complex financial operations on-chain.

Data analysis and research: Conduct in-depth quantitative analysis of market data, protocol mechanics, and on-chain behavior to identify opportunities and inform model development.

Backtesting and simulation: Design and execute rigorous backtests and simulations to validate model performance and robustness.

Collaborating across teams: Work closely with quant researchers, smart contract engineers, and product owners to integrate models into our platform and ensure seamless functionality.

Optimizing for efficiency: Continuously seek ways to improve the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of our quantitative systems.

Staying ahead of the curve: Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in DeFi, blockchain technology, and quantitative finance.

 

✅ You’re a Fit If You

Have 3+ years of experience in a quantitative development role, ideally within finance, HFT, or a related field.

Possess strong programming skills in languages like Python, C++, or Rust, with a focus on writing high-performance, maintainable code.

Have a solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.

Are proficient in quantitative finance concepts, including probability, statistics, linear algebra, and numerical methods.

Have experience with, or a strong desire to learn about, blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized finance.

Are passionate about crypto, DeFi, and Web3, and can think from both user and protocol perspectives.

Are curious, execution-oriented, and love building in public.

Are a strong communicator who can coordinate cross-functional teams in fast-moving environments.

💎 Bonus Points

Experience with Solidity or other smart contract development languages.

Familiarity with on-chain data analytics and tools (e.g., Dune Analytics, Flipside Crypto).

A strong academic background in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering).

Prior experience in a high-growth startup environment.
