We are currently partnered with a venture-backed start-up who are looking to disrupt the restaurant industry.

 

They want to hire a highly skilled AI Engineer to join their rapidly growing business.

 

Responsibilities:

 

* Work with LLMs (e.g., GPT-4, Gemini) and support automation for use cases like phone answering and drive-thru systems
* Develop and evaluate AI agents for real-world deployment in restaurants and food service
* Conduct benchmarks, evaluations, and empirical testing of LLM performance (not just unit tests)
* Collaborate closely with applied scientists on model behavior, prompting, and task reliability

 

Requirements:

 

* Strong engineering background with interest or experience in AI/ML applications
* Empirical mindset and comfort with evaluating model performance
* Python proficiency expected; foundation model integration experience is a plus
* Top-tier educational background preferred
* Bonus: Experience working with Gemini, AWS Bedrock, or custom deep learning pipelines
* Graduated from a top 30 US University
