Title: Sports Graphic and Video Designer

Time: Full-Time (EST Hours)

Location: Remote

Compensation: $21,600/y USD

 

The Company

Our client is the fastest-growing and largest sports league organization for Colleges/Universities across North America. The company was created to provide a better way for student athletes to play casual or competitive sports while at university and college.

 

Role Overview:

As the Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually compelling designs that align with our client’s brand identity and engage our audience across multiple platforms. You will collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to produce high-quality graphics that support initiatives, campaigns, and overall business objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

● Visual Design:

○ Create engaging and on-brand graphics for digital and print media, including social media content, marketing materials, event signage, presentations, and merchandise.

○ Maintain consistency of visual elements across all channels while innovating fresh design approaches.

● Brand Development:

○ Uphold and evolve the brand’s visual standards and style guidelines.

○ Assist in developing new brand assets as needed, ensuring a cohesive visual identity.

● Collaboration:

○ Work closely with marketing, operations, and leadership teams to conceptualize and execute design projects.

○ Interpret project briefs and translate requirements into compelling creative solutions.

● Content Creation Support:

○ Assist with photo editing, basic video editing, and creation of social media templates.

○ Support marketing campaigns with visually effective content tailored for targeted audiences.

● Production Management:

○ Prepare files for production and manage hand-offs to printers or external vendors when needed.

○ Maintain organized archives of design files and assets.

 

Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

●4+ years of professional graphic design experience.

● Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with design tools like Canva.

● Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and composition.

● Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

● Basic knowledge of video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).

● Experience designing for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn).

● Knowledge of sports, student athletics, or event marketing is a plus.
