Senior Director of Paid Marketing

 

We're looking for a senior-level _killer_ with 6–10+ years in agency-side digital media, proven leadership chops, and the drive to lead, grow, and inspire a high-performing team across critical accounts.

As a leader in the industry, we’re looking for a Senior Director of Paid Media to lead and grow our media team, driving results for our clients and shaping the future of our agency.

 

The Senior Director of Paid Media will be responsible for overseeing Levitate Foundry’s paid media strategies, execution, and team leadership. This leader will guide a team of paid media professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-performance campaigns across multiple digital channels. The ideal candidate is team-driven, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves to get things done. This role requires excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving. The Senior Director will manage both the Paid Search and Paid Social teams, ensuring alignment and efficiency across all paid media efforts.

 

Responsibilities:

 

* Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 8+ paid media professionals across multiple locations, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
* Oversee and manage both Paid Search and Paid Social teams, ensuring seamless execution and optimization of campaigns.
* Develop and oversee strategic paid media plans across channels including Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest, CTV/Programatic and emerging platforms.
* Drive campaign performance optimization through data-driven analysis, A/B testing, and audience segmentation.
* Collaborate with creative, strategy, and analytics teams to produce compelling and effective advertising assets.
* Manage and allocate media budgets effectively, ensuring efficient ad spend and maximized ROAS (Return on Ad Spend).
* Assist the Directors and Sales teams with sales efforts and audits, providing strategic insights to help secure new business and optimize existing client accounts.
* Stay ahead of industry trends, new platform developments, and evolving consumer behaviors to maintain a competitive edge.
* Develop strong relationships with clients, providing strategic media insights and recommendations to achieve business goals.
* Oversee reporting and analytics to measure success and identify opportunities for improvement.
* Partner with leadership to define the long-term vision and expansion strategy for Levitate Foundry’s paid media department.

 

Requirements

* Must have 6 -10+ years of experience in digital media strategy and execution within an agency environment.
* Proven track record of managing and scaling teams of 8+ members in multiple locations.
* Deep expertise in performance marketing, digital advertising platforms, and data analytics.
* Strong leadership, mentorship, and team-building skills, with a focus on fostering collaboration and professional development.
* Knowledge and experience in Paid Social and Google are required, with a strong understanding of platforms like Meta, TikTok, and Pinterest Ads.
* Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate strategy, insights, and recommendations to both internal teams and clients.
* Experience in budget management, media planning, and optimizing cross-channel campaigns.
* Proficiency in ad platforms such as Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, Pinterest Ads, CTV and emerging platforms.
* Highly analytical mindset with a passion for testing, learning, and driving measurable growth.
* Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and eager to take initiative when needed.
* Experience with TripleWhale and Asana is preferred but not required.
