Our Client is seeking a creative and results-driven Marketing Specialist / Social Media Manager to join their growing team. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in shaping and executing their digital marketing strategy, with a focus on enhancing our social media presence and optimizing our SEO performance. You’ll have the exciting opportunity to work directly with the business owner, crafting compelling content, managing multiple social media platforms, and implementing cutting-edge SEO techniques to boost our online visibility. This position offers the perfect blend of creativity and analytics, allowing you to showcase your marketing expertise while driving tangible business growth.

 

Job Highlights

* Hourly Rate: USD 10, the equivalent in your local currency
* Paid Hours per Week: 20
* Schedule: flexible (minimum 20 hours/week) | New London, MN (Central Standard Time)
* Work Arrangement: Work from home
* Contract: Independent Contractor

_Side note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process._

 

Responsibilities

* Develop and implement innovative social media strategies that align with our business goals and target audience
* Create engaging, shareable content for various social media platforms, tailoring each piece to maximize impact and engagement
* Manage and grow our social media accounts, fostering community engagement and increasing our follower base
* Conduct comprehensive SEO audits and implement optimization techniques to improve our website’s search engine rankings
* Analyze marketing performance metrics using advanced analytics tools, providing actionable insights to drive continuous improvement
* Collaborate closely with the business owner to ensure marketing efforts are in sync with overall business objectives and growth targets
* Stay at the forefront of digital marketing trends, continuously researching and implementing new strategies to keep our marketing efforts cutting-edge
* Develop and execute content marketing initiatives that showcase our expertise and attract potential clients
* Monitor and report on competitor activities, identifying opportunities to differentiate our brand and capture market share

 

Requirements

* Proven track record in social media management and digital marketing, with a portfolio of successful campaigns
* In-depth knowledge of SEO principles and techniques, with demonstrable experience in improving website visibility and rankings
* Proficiency in using social media management tools, analytics platforms, and SEO software
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable marketing strategies
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for crafting compelling, brand-aligned content
* Creative mindset with an eye for design and the ability to produce visually appealing content
* Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote setting
* Experience in marketing for small businesses or solopreneurs is a plus
* Familiarity with the latest digital marketing trends and best practices
