Quality Assurance Engineer

RED Global, on behalf of a Key Client Partner, is currently searching for an Software Engineer in Test who will be responsible for creating and implementing an automated test framework for our eCommerce platform. In this role, you will work as part of a scrum delivery team to ensure that automated tests are in place that assure functionality works as expected from the moment it is released.

• Location: Hybrid - Locations: Hungary (Budapest), Bulgaria (Sofia), Romania (Timsoara, Cluj, Bucharest), Poland (Krakow, Wroclaw, Warsaw) 2-3 days onsite
• Duration: 12Months+
• Capacity: Full time
• Language: English

Responsibilities;

• Develop automated regression tests for new & existing functionality
• Report to a QA Manager, but work day-to-day embedded in a scrum team
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities for your scrum team
• Identify, record, and document defects identified within our products
• Contribute to internally built test frameworks, new test tools to provide a seamless automation experience to support product releases
• Implement and improve existing new automation framework features with little guidance
• Maintain test infrastructure stability in non-production environments
• Take ownership of test failures and ensure that our CI system is reliable

Skills required;

• A bachelor’s in CS, CIS, engineering, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience with software development and/or QA automation
• 3+ years of software engineering experience in Test Automation, Test framework development, and Functionality Testing
• 2+ years experience implementing UI test automation using a variety of tools like Playwright, WebdriverIO, Cypress etc. for Javacript framework - ReactJS, AngularJs etc.
• Strong experience developing in Javascript or Java/Python, Golang, and shell scripting
• Extensive experience testing microservices based multi-tiered web applications, and complex data- driven applications
• Strong experience with AWS/Azure etc. cloud technologies - Kubernetes is a plus.
• Experience working with Docker containers, ECR/GCR registries
• Experience with Continuous Integration systems (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Gitlab etc)
