Job Summary:
Client is looking for a Digital Designer Manager to support our fast-paced eCommerce and Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) channels.
- The position is responsible for delivering effective, aesthetic, on-brand, and on-strategy creative for web pages, email promotional creative, email templates, and other associated graphics.
- This person must be highly organized, self-motivated, solutions-oriented and able to think creatively and quickly.
- Excellent project management, communication skills and attention to detail are essential for the position.
- This is a fast paced role (organization) that requires someone with a high capacity, attention to detail, and an ability to develop creative and effective solutions that align with the goals and objectives of the company.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Produce and manage the designs for email campaigns, email templates, web pages and banners. Review all creative briefs with authors to understand project objectives. Bring innovative digital ideas to life with superior creativity.
- Lead and manage across all phases of strategy, development, contracting, pre- production, production on set, post production, distribution).
- Work with the DTC team and developers to ensure aesthetics are aligned with usability, accessibility, and web standards. Work with developers to ensure proper implementation within a web environment and ensure consistency and integrity of the creative vision.
- Collaborate with the team to conceptualize and translate create marketing requirements into compelling, appropriate campaigns and designs.
- Ensure consistency of brand and creative across digital customer touch points.
- Understanding of customer segmentation and design of email versioning as it relates.
Education and Experience:
- BA/BS graphic design
- 5-7 years digital design experience
- Exceptional design portfolio, retail industry experience preferred
- Strong Adobe Creative Suite experience (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign)
- Experience with HTML & CSS, including responsive design
- Shopify Plus / Klaviyo experience a must
- Minimum 3 years experience designing for e-Comm, social platforms, email and paid advertising
