Compensation: $140–$160K + Bonus

About The Opportunity

You’ll join a high-performing engineering team responsible for designing and maintaining the core applications that power a modern financial wellness platform. As a senior engineer, you'll influence architecture, guide engineering best practices, and contribute code that is clean, scalable, and built for long-term growth.

This role offers autonomy, technical leadership, and the ability to make tangible contributions to product strategy and engineering culture.

What You’ll Do

• Design and build scalable, high-performance applications across a modern cloud-native stack.
• Lead architectural discussions and influence long-term technical strategy.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code aligned with industry best practices.
• Partner cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver reliable, user-focused solutions.
• Conduct thoughtful code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and model engineering excellence.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend tools that strengthen the development lifecycle.

Required

What You Bring

• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science - or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following: JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, PHP, or Java.
• Strong experience working within cloud environments such as AWS (Preferred), Azure or GCP.
• Deep understanding of software engineering fundamentals design patterns, testing, CI/CD, version control.
• Experience with modern frameworks and tools such as React, Node.js, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Proven ability to diagnose complex issues and improve system reliability.
• Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating in cross-functional engineering environments.

Preferred

• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, or event-driven architecture.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
