This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Technical Support Engineer 2 in India.
As a Technical Support Engineer 2, you will play a critical role in ensuring customers receive the highest level of support for complex technical products. You will serve as the voice of the company to customers and partners, troubleshooting issues across APIs, SDKs, and full-stack systems. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise in networking and development, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify product improvements and provide actionable feedback. Working remotely with a global team, you will help customers maximize their experience and maintain the reliability of mission-critical systems. This position also involves shift-based work to support APAC customers and may include occasional weekend coverage.
Accountabilities
Provide advanced technical support for APIs, SDKs, and cloud-based products, acting as a subject matter expert.
Troubleshoot server-side and client-side code, including JavaScript, Node.js, Python, Java, or C#.
Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, including TCP/UDP and SSL/TLS configurations.
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to report reproducible bugs and recommend product improvements.
Assist in improving internal processes by identifying recurring customer issues and providing actionable feedback.
Communicate complex technical information clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Support customer needs during holidays and on shift rotations as required.
Requirements
2+ years of technical support or related experience in software or SaaS environments.
Strong knowledge of full-stack JavaScript and ability to troubleshoot server-side and client-side code. React.js experience is a plus.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
Experience troubleshooting network connectivity issues and understanding of TCP/UDP, SSL/TLS basics.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to diverse audiences.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a customer-first mindset.
Desired: experience with serverless technologies (Lambda), RESTful APIs, WebRTC, mobile applications, and cloud solutions troubleshooting.
