This role is designed for a detail-oriented and highly analytical professional to ensure the quality, accuracy, and performance of complex software and Business Intelligence solutions. The Analytics QA Tester will collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and end-users to validate applications, data warehouses, ETL processes, and visualizations. The position offers the opportunity to work in an agile environment, contributing to automated regression testing, user acceptance testing, and process improvements. • Accountabilities:
• Develop, implement, and execute test plans and test cases based on product specifications for software and BI solutions.
• Perform post-implementation testing and validation of applications, ETL procedures, and data visualizations.
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to review code, identify design issues, and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Support end-users in conducting user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet functional and performance requirements.
• Document test plans, test cases, results, and defects to maintain traceability and project transparency.
• Analyze complex data sources to validate accuracy, integrity, and functionality of developed solutions.
• Participate in agile development cycles to test new features and contribute to process optimization initiatives.
• Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience testing complex software applications across multiple platforms and technologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (2008, 2012, 2014) and strong SQL development skills (T-SQL preferred).
• Experience with Microsoft .NET framework, C#, and VB.NET application development.
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks, debugging tools, and agile development processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate technical issues clearly.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Residency requirement: Must live in NC, SC, GA, TN, VA, MD, or FL.
