Senior Java Developer (AWS Cloud, API & CI/CD)

What you'll do:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and services with a strong focus on high-quality code.
• Architect and implement scalable microservices and RESTful APIs deployed in AWS using modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from planning and requirements to testing and deployment.
• Collaborate with distributed development teams to deliver cloud-native solutions aligned with business goals.
• Support Agile development processes and participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and stand-ups.
• Mentor junior developers by sharing best practices for Java development, API design, testing, and AWS cloud deployment.
• Ensure application performance, reliability, and maintainability in a cloud environment.

Experience and Skills

• What you'll bring:8+ years of professional experience with Java development and object-oriented programming.
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming in Java.
• 3–4 years of experience deploying and managing Java-based applications on AWS cloud.
• Proficiency with AWS services including but not limited to EC2, Lambda, ECS or EKS, S3, and API Gateway.
• Strong hands-on experience building and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Experience building and deploying microservices in AWS.
• Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline, or similar.
• Familiarity with writing unit and integration tests for Java applications.
• Comfortable participating in code reviews and applying clean code principles.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Nice to have: Experience with MuleSoft for API integration and management.
