Director of Marketing

Job Description

The Director of Marketing will build and lead the strategy, planning, execution, and measurement of marketing programs that drive growth and deliver business objectives across Envision. This position consults with leaders on a broad range of marketing matters focused on carrying out the organization’s purpose, strategic priorities, and annual goals and has primary responsibility for plans and policies related to Envision’s marketing activities. Oversee the development and execution of all marketing strategies for the organization, and relationship building with key stakeholders.

Paid Time Off: Envision Healthcare offers paid time off, 9 observed holidays and paid family leave. You accrue Paid Time Off (PTO) each pay period and depending on your position and can earn a minimum of 20 days and up to 25 days per calendar year.

Responsibilities

• Directs employees by supporting, coaching, training, assisting with time management and performing evaluations; should conduct regular meetings with all direct reports.
• Works in partnership with the creative director adhere to the brand strategy, creative guidelines, and compliance expectations to ensure the brand’s messaging, visual identity, and values are consistent across all marketing channels and platforms.
• Develops an overall marketing plan for discrete service lines, including annual campaigns media and event marketing planning.
• Utilizes market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape that optimize marketing strategies
• Heads enterprise-wide go-to market strategies to support business development and help drive hospital partner growth and retention.
• Manages and aligns outbound communications, trade shows, and collateral and sales messaging in an ROI driven manner.
• Partners with Corporate Communications to implement ongoing development and enhancements to websites.
• Collaborates with Sales and Business Development teams to develop and execute annual conference strategy. Includes show promotion and managing logistics.
• Leads a dynamic marketing team responsible for implementation of brand positioning and go-to-market strategies.
• Partners with clinical recruitment leaders set the marketing strategy and implementation efforts including delivering a compelling clinician value proposition, and tactics to recruit and retain clinicians.
• Maintains a return on investment driven marketing budget to ensure optimal financial and growth results.
• Drives the development and tracking of key performance indicators for all marketing strategies and tactics.
• Leads agency RFP processes, selection, contract negotiation, relationship management, and performance review process.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.

• Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
• Ability to set and execute strategic marketing plans that drive measurable business outcomes
• Solid business acumen with the ability to align marketing initiatives with broader business goals
• Skilled in demand generation, marketing operations, and content creations
• Health industry or public service background preferred.
• Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Education/Experience

• BS/BA related field; masters preferred
• 10+ years of experience in marketing or related field
• 5+ years of experience leading and developing leaders
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing high performing teams

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of:

• Microsoft Office Suite
• HubSpot
