About the Role

The Software Engineer (AI/ML Focus) drives the development of intelligent underwriting technologies that automate and improve financial decision-making at scale. This role combines AI innovation with production-grade engineering, giving you direct influence over machine learning systems deployed in real-world fintech applications.

Working within a fast-moving engineering environment, you will build scalable AI solutions, contribute to modern financial automation, and grow within a long-term global career designed for high-performing technology professionals.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React/TSX
• Experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services)
• Experience with Docker and containerization
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Mid-level experience with a track record of clean, production-grade code
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Self-directed and accountable, with the ability to work independently
• Ability to learn new tools and platforms quickly through documentation
• Comfortable with remote and asynchronous communication

Responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Design scalable system components, including AI/ML pipelines
• Build and train machine learning models for production environments
• Integrate AI-enabled features into live applications
• Debug, test, and optimize applications for performance and reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across product, QA, and design
• Maintain and improve existing systems and application architecture
• Ensure software quality, security, and operational performance
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Deploy and monitor ML models in production environments
