The Role

We are looking for a highly talented AI Engineer who will lead the development of AI-powered features at Cyberr. This is a key role where you’ll work closely with our Product Owner and Backend Developers to architect, design, and implement AI systems that generate real business value.

You will approach the problem top-down: identifying missing data points, relationships, and signals across our platform, and using them to build cutting-edge AI features such as intelligent agents, recommendation/matching engines, and automated workflows.

This is an opportunity to own the AI vision of Cyberr, create scalable solutions, and bring advanced machine learning to a production-grade SaaS platform.

Responsibilities

Architect and build AI systems including agents, recommendation/matching algorithms, and decision-support tools.

Work with vector databases and embeddings to power semantic search and knowledge retrieval.

Design and maintain MCP (Model Control Protocol) servers and pipelines for AI agents and orchestration.

Collaborate with product and backend teams to identify missing data points or relations, and design data schemas that unlock AI capabilities.

Implement ML/DL models for natural language processing, classification, and ranking/recommendation.

Ensure scalability and reliability of AI features in production (MLOps best practices).

Maintain and optimize data pipelines (structured and unstructured) for model training and inference.

Experiment and prototype new AI features, validate them with real users, and iterate for impact.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Machine Learning & Deep Learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn).
• Proficiency in Python (data science stack: pandas, NumPy, Hugging Face, LangChain or similar).
• Experience with TypeScript and backend integration (Node.js, APIs).
• Hands-on experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, pgvector).
• Experience in building recommendation/matching systems.
• Familiarity with MLOps practices: CI/CD for ML, model monitoring, retraining pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, query optimization, pgvector.
• Solid backend architecture knowledge (REST, GraphQL, event-driven systems).

Nice to Have

• Experience with agent frameworks (LangChain, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, or custom MCP-based agents).
• Knowledge of LLM fine-tuning and evaluation (RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, distillation).
• Exposure to data governance, cleaning, and enrichment strategies.
• Previous experience in a B2B SaaS or talent marketplace.

Profile We’re Looking For

• You have 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, ideally in SaaS or high-growth startups.
• You are both strategic and hands-on: capable of identifying long-term AI opportunities while also writing clean, production-ready code.
• You are data-driven: you see the value of structuring and enriching data for future AI capabilities.
• You are collaborative and excited to work with backend, product, and business teams.
