Email Marketing Manager
BridgeTower Media is looking for an Email Marketing Manager to support and optimize our email marketing campaigns. Duties will include developing various email marketing materials, sourcing images and artwork, collating content, updating online assets, tracking and optimizing campaigns. Your creative thinking skills combined with technical understanding of email / online marketing will be essential to enhance our client's image, improve digital communication with our audience, and drive business growth through effective campaigns. You will work with various sale reps, customers, vendors, sponsors, and stakeholders to ensure the success of our digital marketing strategy.
Key Responsibilities
In this role you will perform various tasks related to the planning, execution, and evaluation of email marketing campaigns. Duties and responsibilities of this role include:
- Strong understanding of email marketing technologies and best practices, including experience in designing HTML emails that are compatible with a variety of email clients
- Supporting marketing initiatives by creating and managing mailing lists.
- Working with clients to produce high-quality digital content for campaigns.
- Coordinating digital assets for events, webinars, conferences, and markets to promote the customer's brand, generate leads and drive engagement.
- Developing and sourcing content for digital communications, such as newsletters, cobranded email campaigns, websites, blogs and social media to increase awareness and engagement.
- Researching market trends and customer needs to identify new opportunities and improve existing campaigns.
- Monitor progress of advertising campaigns and optimize to drive superior outcomes
- Monitoring and analyzing web analytics, such as traffic, conversions, bounce rate, opt outs and user behavior, to measure the effectiveness and ROI of the marketing campaigns.
- Preparing and presenting reports and recommendations on the digital marketing performance, challenges, and opportunities.
Qualifications
- Ideal candidate will have a 4-year degree with 2 to 4 years of experience developing, launching and optimizing email marketing campaigns
- Knowledge of email deployment systems such as ActOn (or Constant Contact, HubSpot, etc)
- Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, as well as experience in designing HTML emails that are compatible with a variety of email clients
- Ability to write HTML/CSS code to create responsive and visually appealing email templates that can be successfully delivered.
- Excellent copywriting and copy-editing skills.
- Experience in digital marketing operations, preferably in a media or publishing company.
- Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience with project management platforms a plus.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and dynamic environment.
- Proficient in using various software and tools, such as Photoshop, Microsoft Outlook & Excel, to create and manage digital content and campaigns
