Position Summary
The Salesforce Business Development Manager will be responsible for get Leads, build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, Salesforce account teams, and strategic partners and broadening Salesforce services to new and existing clients. The executive will source new business opportunities/engagements by using an existing network of professional contacts and by initiating and developing relationships with executive client professionals, professional advisors, and partner channels that lead to signed contracts for ATBOD to deliver professional services. The executive will be able to identify and assist in closing consulting services.
The individual will get new client and new business development, consulting and advisory services to the C-Level with regard to leveraging technology to enable financial transformation, digital solutions, and customer experience. Success may be found get Leads through Salesforce, Microsoft dynamics, and other cloud platform or directly to the end user.
Qualifications:
- At least 5+ years of proven success in Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within target industries such as Healthcare, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Consumer Goods, Nonprofits and so on.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop campaigns, events, and content to support business development efforts and Relationship management and stakeholder engagement.
- Lead the end-to-end Lead cycle, including prospecting, discovery, proposal development, negotiations, and deal closure.
- Strong experience in the Salesforce ecosystem in Sales and excellent proven negotiations and closing abilities
- Ability to comfortably interface with Clients to help align to their business and technology strategies
- Prior experience in application sales in Salesforce or preferred prior experience as a Salesforce AE
- Proficient in new business development, consultative selling, presentation, and leadership skills
- Proven experience exceeding marketing goals and knowledge of professional services selling and the ability to build and sustain long-term relationships with AEs and clients to drive revenue.
- Extensive experience in the development and execution of the BD process to close the business deal through executive contacts. Extensive experience identifying client issues and priorities and providing solutions based on the services of the firm.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects to develop and execute the Lead and sales process, develop long-term client relationships, and provide solutions for clients.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Actively pursue new business opportunities and network within the industry to bring new client opportunities to the teams.
- Prospecting and developing new clients to expand ATBOD's presence in the target industry space including maintaining an extensive pipeline of qualified new client opportunities.
- Identify/develop key partner strategies for specific customers and market segments.
- Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities and provide high content contributions to joint product and consulting opportunities around client application
- Manage all phases of the business development cycles to successful close (including proposal development, implementation estimating, scope construction, and client presentations).
- Generate sales by winning new client accounts and add industry-specific and technology solution expertise to the sales process.
- Maintain and nurture client and channel relationships to ensure additional business.
- Align with client broader sector and account teams to create account growth Strategies through the Account Planning Process.
- Achieving monthly and annual sales goals and market penetration targets.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms like Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or related software
- Participate in all sales presentations/negotiations and marketing company products and getting new projects.
- Effectively securing new IT business contracts with businesses, governments, and individuals
- Design and execute effective Lead and sales strategies
- Prospect and target sales lead within the assigned sales region
- Proficient with leveraging software to gain business for the company
- Improve the brand recognition and brand awareness of the company over time
- Partnering with internal ATBOD Managing Directors to introduce ATBOD’s solutions to clients.
