Job Summary:
The Company is searching for a versatile and seasoned Design Lead to provide human-centered design approach into integrated end-to-end software and product development across multiple squads. In this dynamic role, you will lead the full design process hands-on: user research, synthesis, concept ideation, UX/UI prototyping, testing, software build oversight, end-user adoption for Fuelight 360, our cutting-edge digital capability specifically designed for marketing investment allocation.
Key Responsibilities:
- User Research: Engage with end-users to understand their pain points, workflows, and expectations. Conduct interviews, usability testing, and other research methods to gather insights that will inform the design process.
- Interface Design: Translate user requirements into visually appealing and highly functional user interfaces. Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that optimize for productivity, efficiency, and high user adoption.
- Usability Validation: Test and validate the UX/UI of our internal tools, gathering feedback from stakeholders and end-users. Analyze data, identify areas for improvement, and implement iterative design changes to enhance the overall user experience.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, software engineers, data scientists, and IT specialists, to ensure the successful implementation and adoption.
- Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Document design decisions, processes, and best practices to maintain a centralized knowledge base and facilitate knowledge sharing within the organization.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing digital products and productivity tools
- 2+ years of designing dashboard-type tools for both desktop and mobile platforms in a large, global organization with complex internal systems and processes
- A thorough understanding of Design Thinking, Agile methods, HCI concepts
- Skillset focus on User Research (mostly qualitative), UX/UI Design and Service Design
- Fluency in working with collaboration and prototyping tools - Figma, Mural, etc.
- Experience in working as a part of multi-disciplinary product-centric teams and working directly with software engineers
- Ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present design concepts and recommendations effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with design systems and component-based UI development frameworks (e.g., ReactJS).
- Understanding of front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their impact on design implementation.
