Full-Stack Developer (Next.js) - Part-time - Worldwide (PST overlap)

Role Overview

We're building Cinetech, an AI-powered film production platform that handles script breakdown, storyboarding, scheduling, and team collaboration. The platform is feature-rich but pre-revenue—we're focused on proving market fit. We need two mid-level full-stack contractors to help us ship faster: clearing a backlog of bugs and improvements, with some feature work mixed in. You'll work directly with the founder and technical lead.

Responsibilities

• Pick up prioritized tickets from Linear and ship fixes and improvements independently
• Debug issues across the full stack, from React components to Postgres queries to background workers
• Implement new features as priorities evolve
• Write clean, maintainable code without over-engineering
• Communicate proactively—ask clarifying questions early, flag blockers quickly

Required Skills

• TypeScript and React (NextJS specifically)
• PostgreSQL and comfort writing/debugging queries
• Experience with authentication systems (NextAuth or similar)
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal hand-holding
• PST-compatible availability for syncs a couple times per week

Nice to Have

• Experience with Supabase, Railway, or Vercel
• Familiarity integrating third-party APIs, especially AI services (OpenAI, Anthropic, Stability, Replicate)
• Exposure to Stripe subscription/billing flows
