AI Engineer - Computer Vision Specialist

Title:

Python Computer Vision Engineer – Sports Video AI (Equestrian)

Description:

We are building an AI system to analyze show-jumping horse videos (ages 4–7) and score talent.

Think “Talent-ID AI” for elite sport horses.

We already have clear scoring criteria, labeled videos, and an MVP roadmap.

Now we need a strong video/ML engineer to build the pipeline.

You will work directly with the founder — Thibaut Keller, ex-show-jumping rider and founder of CrackFinder, a scouting platform for future Grand Prix horses.

Responsibilities

• Extract motion & jump features from horse-jumping videos
• Build video analysis pipeline (OpenCV / YOLO / Pose tracking / FFmpeg)
• Train & evaluate models
• Help design scoring logic (efficiency ➜ style ➜ reactivity ➜ amplitude ➜ respect ➜ balance ➜ suppleness ➜ mental)
• Build lightweight interface (Streamlit or FastAPI)
• Iterate quickly with founder — fast feedback loop

Required Skills

• Python + Computer Vision
• OpenCV + FFmpeg + Deep Learning (YOLO / VOS / Pose models)
• Experience with video analysis models
• Strong engineering & MVP delivery mindset

Bonus

• Sports video analysis / biomechanics
• Pose estimation / keypoints / tracking
• Knowledge of equestrian sport (not required)

Budget

CHF 5k–10k total (MVP scope)
