Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Weaviate Specialist to troubleshoot and resolve issues with our complex RAG system utilizing Weaviate.
The job is focused on DevOps for RAG + Weaviate vector DB. The primary objective is to identify and fix the root causes of frequent database crashes to ensure system stability and reliability.

Goals:
Immediate goal: Diagnose/address existing database performance issues
Long-term: System performance and efficiency optimization

Responsibilities

• Analyze the current Weaviate database setup to identify potential causes of instability and crashes.
• Implement effective solutions to resolve database issues and improve system performance.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless integration and functionality within the RAG system.
• Provide recommendations for best practices in database management and optimization.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of RAG system architecture and best practices.
• DevOps for RAG
• Proven experience with Weaviate and understanding of its architecture.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose database issues effectively.
• Familiarity with database management and optimization techniques.
